Looking good. What's with the horizontal-only LNB do you reckon? Is that Gee-Gee specific?

I suppose it's possible if he's in an area of outstanding natural bookmakers or something.

The lnb is one of the norsat range it would be a norsat 4000b which is horizontal only and covers from 12.250 to 12.500 ideal for S~I~S on Sirius 2 all bookmakers have these installed it is the standard spec system from S~I~S, You only need a 60cm for S~I~S but they use bigger dishes to allow for rain fade and most of the time they install Andrew of prodelin dishes,
I use to do some contract work for sis in the past aswell, The old 1.2m and 1.8m prime focus dishes they use to use back in the day when SIS was in b-mac on 27.5w are worth getting you hands on as they are high quality and good dishes, Quote:

thats interesting, was just curious of the description on the auction of not allowed for being wrong colour
i see them on side of bookies all the time and a 90cm version isn't exactly big so 60cm is all they need, sure i've seen some what look like 1.2m on some bookies though

Most of the time they do install the 1.2m and some times the 90cm i think it depends on what is in stock the bigger dishes are for rain fade,
You will also see them on shops and banks and offices in the past i have installed them on lloyds tsb, homebase, asda, carpet right, spar, halifax, co-op banks and shops, bank of scotland, argos, wilko, tesco, macro, shell, esso, texico also for V-SAT (2way satellite internet), places with cash points, loads of offices and hotels, petrol stations and the list goes on Quote:
