Roof is made from 6" thick reinforced conctreat beams, underneath is a series of brick wall forming outside loo, shed and coal house, I plan to place dish mount directly over one of the walls.

sounds like my house has a brick built shed on it with a solid concrete roof, should take that weight no problem if it is

I have hired one twice with hole cutters, for the vent on the tumble dryer and air conditioner, it took ages to get through the walls. I have learnt when fitting cables to go for the mortar and not the brick.

yeah for cables, yes but wall mounts need to be fixed to the bricks

my drill eats into bricks like a knife through butter was only 50 notes some sds drill from argos

anyway you decided on what your going to do ?

Anything that need fixing has gone into the brick, sat dish, plant brackets etc. even the mortar is unforgiving as it has tiny pebbles in it, just the rite size to bend the nails of cable clips
