I reckon that putting the new motor where your Sky dish is now will be perfectly OK, so I'd try and re-use as many existing fixing holes as possible.

I have no idea.

The 'K' one is the big one, which I think of as the 'T' one because that's what it looks like face on :

I'll have to reuse the bolts as they are sleeve anchor bolts so they aint gonna come out easily, had to gently tap them in with a small hammer

wondering how much clearance the dish gets from the 1224 motor i reckon about 3-4 inch so might actually be able to use the current ones

now to order the motor, adapter plate and vbox

The "k" bracket looks quite like a lower case "k" with an underscore ie k

I've stared at my bracket for hours from all angles and in various states of inebriation. It looks more like a strawberry trifle to me

well i've had a look today and sure the dish will hit the guttering even on the 24 inchers as it moves on the arc past 30e it leans into the wall, west wont have a problem with

could i get done if i put the andrews dish on a ground mount in the garden behind my shed as a static dish for 16east or something and have the motorised dish on the wall with the sky dish

any one with an andrews plus jaeger 1224, wall mounted get some pics please as i need to see the dish clearance from the pole/motor to dish

as the 1224 motor is more further in to the pole unlike diseqc h2h which stick out a further 8 inches

any other advice welcome

I thought you were considering putting it just above the gutter at one point? What's wrong with that?
