I got mine off ebay > When its in place i can't shut the window, must be thicker than the Maplins one :?

The Maplins one is a VERY thin and hard wire wrapped in white plastic and sticker on side (to keep it in place?).
Once window is shut, the wire takes whatever shape is required and stays that way even when window is open.

I am responsible for maintenance, infrastructure. etc. She is responsible for kids, food, house cleaning and "I want it now!"

Anyone got the catalogue number for the new Swedish au pair model? I've read that they're more expensive to maintain and less reliable, but that reception is better and the audio quieter.

My old one tends to overheat a bit. The visuals are showing signs of artefacts and I'm finding it harder to press the right buttons in the dark. It refuses to accept 'my favourites' and doesn't do horizontal polarisation.
