Default Problems with BabyTV channel (13E)

I've got serious issue with this channel (10971 H, TP123, 13.0E)
The video is watchable for several minutes, then it goes all blocky if there is a fast motion, then it clears again. It only happens if there is fast motions and blocks are clearly MPEG artifacts.
The strangest thing is that if I record the channel, then there are no issues with recorded video!

Can you please tune to this channel and see if you have issues?

And BTW, it is not BabeTV but BabyTV - entertaiment for babies and toddlers so no Scantily Clad Ladies TM

How long do I have to watch? I'm losing the will to live... :roflmao:

No problems after 8 hours...

Well, 15 minutes then.

If your motorised you can also get it on 30w as part of TV Cabo. Its also available on Sky 28.2e and 7e although i don't think its open on 7e atm

Have tested Baby TV 13e on both my Dreambox and my Technomate with no problems at all

Ever wondered what its like to be on acid, watch Baby TV for a few hours :roflmao:

Very interesting.

SNR - 76%, AGC - 78%, BER (in webif) 4; (OSD - 0.00e0)

What I've noticed that the bitrate is quite low - between 1000Kb/s and up to 3500Kb/s
If bitrate stays below 2200-2300Kb/s then no issues whatsoever, fast motion or not. Anything above it and picture is blocky.

Any ideas?

Not really Is this your TM-9100?

Do you get the same effect on any similar (bitrate-wise) channels?

Is your box low on memory? Have much stuff running? Sharing? Other network IO?

Are you running with a disk, or can you mount a local swapfile?

Yes, this is TM9100.

This is the only channel with such problem. According to top, there is no memory issue. CPU utilization is also quite low. Disk is off, swapfile is there but not used.
