Never been a mini fan myself although I have driven two or three. My favourite all time car was a MG ZB Varitone. The only trouble I ever had with it was terminal rust after about 10 years.

My biggest memory was going to work in the rain in London and in a traffic jam on the middle of Westminster bridge the radio started to go quieter and the wipers slowed to a stop and eventually the engine stopped. Headlights, demister, wipers radio and heater fan were just too much for the battery.

In those days cars had starter handles and with everything turned off the car started and I continued to work with just the wipers going.

Lovely car. I wish I still had it.

A mini is fun until you drive over something, like a pebble and all your fillings drop out

Give me a nice little Fiat or Citroen any day brum brum...........

I give up, the bloody shower has packed up now and the washing machine has started making funny noises.

I suggested we use the local stream for both laundry and bathing but it hasn't gone down well :?
