Default No No NO No

The rate things are going I will never get my motorised system.

Apart from the gearbox going on the old car whilst fetching a bargin 1.2m dish that cost £14.50 the new car has done nothing but cost money so far

First, a towbar, then the electrics for the tow bar, all done by yours truly to save money, but now the bloody airbag warning light has decided to come on and stay on

Looks like a trip to the auto electricians for a diagnostic :'(

Stick a bit of black insulating tape over it.

There's a way you can tell if cars are any good before you buy them. The duff ones have the word "Ford" on the front. :roflmao:

Sounds like an expensive time for you, though Still, life is swings and roundabouts. Personally, I prefer the slide.

Well if it look like its going to be expensive I think the bulb for the warning light will get removed. :spite:

I had a Ford Mondeo once Never new what was going to work on it from one day to the next couldn't wait to get rid of it.

I'm a Mini man myself And were not talking those BMW abominations either >

Used to have a Mini with an Avonbar tuned 1380cc MG Metro Turbo engine in it with the turbo & Straight cut Jack Knight gearbox. Whined like a bast**d

175bhp at the flywheel 139bhp at the wheels

Standing quarter in 14 seconds

My XR is pretty radical, last rebuilt by Boss Racing Engines. One of my mates is a mini psycho. Used to grind race heads in his parents living room! :roflmao:

My first car was an 850cc mini. It would do 0-60 eventually - the first time I tried it I ran out of road to accelerate and it was the longest straight in the area!
I eventually clocked it at around 25 seconds :roflmao:

ALl the exterior trim fell off on a storm lashed trip from Staffordshire to south Wales
