On C band, you remove the plastic cover and insert a small plastic strip,it then does circular polarised signals.Could be the same type of thing,is the metel strip easy to remove,ie without damaging the feedhorn?

In the UK it was off the old BSB Marcopolo satellites @ 31w broadcast in DMAC with RH circular polarization

When BSB went t!ts up one of the old BSB birds became Thor 1 @ 1w and the other became Sirius 1 @ 5e

Both Thor 1 & Sirius 1 broadcast similar D2MAC RH polorized signals instead of the DMAC signals as they did at 31w for BSB

INSTALLMENT 8025 of Jontys Dish

Just taken the lnb and feedhorn apart and its not actually a metal clip across the throat of the feedhorn its actually a clear plastic piece that runs right through it and its not been fitted it looks like its part of the feedhorn itself. Is it needed do we think because it looks pretty easy to break out or is it going to be better just to buy a new feedhorn?

Only the ones I take a shine to

Don't worry, I've got a brand new Invacom adjustable here that Blackhawk donated to a project but haven't got a P/F dish so it's yours if you screw up.

I'm pretty sure he wants to see this thing working as much as I do.

 Now where else would you get the whole forum cheering your project on and throwing extra parts at you from all directions and for nothing?
