Got the post from your mums Jasper (what a lovely lady) Tried the dish earlier on without the thing inside the feedhorn and couldn't get a thing but can't tell whether that is down to the feedhorn or the switch yet. Going to take out the switch today and rig up the big dish to the tm direct with the taller pole then once I have found something will put the switch back.

Hopefully this will be sorted out once and for all this weekend otherwise its definitely going back on ebay.

looking pretty good so far

Got 1W more or less straight off not tightened everything up yet done a scan and get 130 odd channels without even tweaking it. Signal level 95% Quality flits between 79% and 81%. Don't know whether to bother with the motor on it or not as the 80cm does a fine job for what I want. Got a can of stones on the go to celebrate but will have to have a play for a bit longer.

Cheers for the advice on the feedhorn and a special thanks to Jasper for the pole. I owe you big time

hehe and so the problems begin again. All was working fine but now losing signal on 2 main dishes through the switch. Just going to bed after messing about all night. Checked all cables and f connectors etc no faults as I can see. The way it stands at the moment I have no signal from any dish at all. All was working fine until I changed from 1W to 19E. It did the same thing earlier yesterday but cleared its self. The switch seems like it needs a kick start every so often. Going to try it again this afternoon when I get up.
