Yes they're tiny aren't they. Don't be fooled, it's a great LNB.
Yes just bolt it directly to the feedhorn and forget the polariser.

Keep us informed.

Motor is now wired up and working Still haven't worked out what those things are in the last picture though. Just soaked the inside of the arm things with WD40 as they are a bit rusty.

On your spare part, is the ID about the same as the actuator OD?

A good place to start, or you could do it the way i do it,and point the mount to the sun at 11am (but dont tell the others, they will only laugh !),you should be some where near with the arc.

Well those bits are still on the table in the garden and the dish is up and running so I don't know where they go at all. Just need the stand tightening completely and bolting to the floor then line it up. On my H to H motor I can tell when the motor is in the middle by the gauge how do I tell with the Jaeger as there are no markings on it at all or is it all guess work?

I've always done it by eye and got it pretty spot on (at least the results tell me that).
You could measure from the edge of the dish to a suitable pont on the motor body, but a few mm either way won't hurt as it transfers as only a few microns out to the elevation if you see what I mean.

PICTURES PICTURES, WE WANT PICTURES.
And some reception reports

going to have a play shortly only just got up. Portable telly is out ready. The Mrs was a bit upset at first and her mates are taking the pi55 but she is getting used to it. Few pics attached I have just taken even have the washing blowing in the breeze

The bottom one is the old 80cm motorised set up in the corner.
