The face is very straight but there are a few dents on the very outer edge. Been moving it about for an hour now and can't find anything at all
Should there be some sort of cap on the feedhorn as its just like a cellophane seal over the hole or doesn't it matter. At the moment I can't even find 19E or 13E

you'd need to find 1west to align it up properly

It's going to be a lot more difficult with such a large dish. You need to be spot-on.
Which LNB are you using? I take it you're using your new C120 Inverto and the old feedhorn?

Yes m8. New inverto 0.3dB. I suppose its going to be the usual story of moving it millimeter by millimeter until I get a good signal. Its just a bit worrying getting nothing at all.

Don't forget that you'll have to aim the dish a lot higher than your old one, being a prime focus.

Looking at the feedhorn it looks different to the standard IRTE feed`s.
As on jaspers dish http://www.satellitehelp.co.uk/forum...ic,7037.0.html And the ones I have seen on ebay the last few weeks. :?

Its the original feedhorn that came with the dish it just hasn't got a cover it even has IRTE written on it. Still messing will get there in the end but its bloody heavy work swinging the bugger round

still playing found 8W and 5W but can't get 1W. There is nothing blocking sight so can't understand why. I know the dish has to be higher and to the left so will carry on until I get there. Which is the strongest signal on 1W so I can tune into that one?
