Cool. Sounds like a plan. Start at the bottom and work your way up

You've just got to be obsessively accurate with that mount/pole.

Just one more question before I finally dismantle it all and throw it in the skip What setting should the LNB be on in the technomates settings? Should it be the same as my MTI Blueline or different?

Should be the same - 9750, 11700, sw 10600 as it's just a universal with a different mouth.

Can you list ALL the 20 channels (and which transponders please) you're getting from what you think is 1W.

That should say for sure what is going on.

Edusat 11.189
TotoTV 11.502
then 13 channels on 12.872 including animal planet antenna1 cinemax discovery tv1000 etc. According to wotsat mag these should be on 12.723

12750 is the end of the Ku downlink frequencies so we have a bit of a problem with the box and / or setup parameters there I believe mate.

Yes, well spotted mate. Maybe the high band LO is set incorrectly.

Could that affect the other channels because Edusat and TotoTV are correct according to Wotsat. I am tending to think that is still the tree that is blocking some or most of the signal but having said that 8W and 5W are fine but I can't get anything at all off 7W which is strange as there is nothing in the way of that. Will have a look on Lyngsat later and make sure all the transponders set on my TM are right.
