Or how about lifting the dish up by about 2 foot,i have a 4 foot mount/pole,if my mum is over or i get your way i could always drop it off,may be worth a try

Lol and off we go again why does nothing ever go right

Diseqc switch came today but only S1 works. Got the 80cm dish on S1 works fine put the 60cm dish on S2 S3 and S4 nothing. I then took the 80cm dish off and put the 60cm on S1 and that works, Put the 80cm back on S2 S3 and S4 and nothing. Anyone any clues or am I going to have to get a refund.

btw with the 60cm dish now I can get some of the Digi stuff on 1W including TV1000 which I used to watch in the old D2mac days

Think you're going to have to swap your switch for a different make, or swap LNBs

Have you tried the big bu99er on S1?

Hi m8 diseqc switches are a right pain in the butt on build of late.The only one i find good is my orbital 4 way diseqc switch,iv to of these.My global diseqc switch some ports work & others the signel is very bad.For me now i would only by orbital diseqc switch,iv have to much aggro with others.diseqc switches there should be some sort of standard on build :spite:

My cheap switch was branded 'Astra' and works great.

Have been in touch with the guy on ebay and he says if I return the switch he will replace it and reminded me about connecting it with the box switched on. I informed him that I know all about that and it hasn't worked from day one so I will be sending it back over the weekend. As all 3 dishes work on the 1st connection but not on any of the others I can only assume the switch itself is goosed (or can I? )

The bottom line seems to be that many of them just aren't compatible with some LNBs. There's no clear pattern.

So it could be a compatibility problem with the actual switching rather than anything else. I have an MTI 0.2 db a 0.2db twin Ice lnb and the inverto 0.3. They all seem to work on port 1 but not on the others. Another thing I have noticed is that the switch is diseqc 2.0 are they backwardly compatible as my tm only has diseqc 1 and 1.1
