yep pretty good reception on it when its working ok still having problems with the diseqc switch sticking and cutting out (I think thats what it is anyway) On 1W where the big dish is pointing it only holds a signal for 10 seconds then goes off for 5 and comes back on again. Could that be a cabling problem it seems to be pulsing. Does the same on some of the taquilla channels on 19E but not as frequent.

Sounds like something's not quite right there. Could be the switch having a spasm.

If it was me i think i would use it without the swich, inline for a bit and see how it goes then.
How far away from the receiver is the switch? and also how long is the cable?

Now here is a funny thing. All works fine on my SS2 under dvbdream switches from one to the other effortlessly but not in progdvb or altdvb using loopthrough on the technomate it even picks up more channels when scanning which would suggest everything is ok with the cabling and the switch. If the switch is not compatible with the technomate would the loopthrough still be ok? The switch is the width of the kitchen and living room away from the receiver which is about 20 ft at a rough guess then the irte dish is about another 15 ft away with the 80cm one about another 30ft away from that. There are no joins in any of the cables either.

how you getting on with the dish? not had any updates for some time.
cable run does not seem too long then! not running along any mains or tv cables is it?

didn't see this post til today Jasper. Dish still working fine although it is only focused on 1W which has nothing worth watching at the moment. Still having the same problem with the reception on the technomate though.
