how long toke it for dreambox to work properly??3-4 years and they are still not working as they should to be. I've got the dream 500 dream600 dream 7000 and the dream 7020 and the technomate 9100 super linux but the TM is the best of all my receivers .The dreamboxes are always hooking up but the techno is running very well no problems at all.

I'm not sure how you've come up with the idea that the TM9100 is better than the Dreambox
![]() Once my 7020 is setup i don't have to mess with it to keep it running, it just looks after itself, Now with the 9100 i have to reboot it at least twice a day although thats probably a more to do with the image installed ![]() I have not yet managed to get gbox to work correctly with it and the PVR function is a waste of time too as when you try to playback a recording it slows things upso much you have to reboot the box to get it to anything else ![]() The box also isn't as user friendly when installing new images as the dreambox. I can install a new image on the dreambox in about 2 mins which is a lot less time than the TM ![]() In the short time i have had the 9100 i can honestly say upto now that i'm not impressed with it. I'm just going to try other images and see what happens but if things don't improve with it soon it will be going back on ebay ![]() Compared with the Dreambox the 9100 is a second rate box. I'm hoping that the stabilty issues will eventually get sorted out with the TM but i'm not holding out hope for a fix any time soon ![]() ![]() Nano

nikkeltje, if you are getting problems with your Dreamboxes, is it because you have not flash erased them?

Well i've ditched DS Team v3.4 because its about as stable as an Parisean Taxi driver stuck in a traffic Jam
![]() Re-flashed the TM9100 with UR11 and its working brilliantly, nearly as good as the Dreambox, but not quite ![]() I've even managed to get both the cardslots working under gBox which will give me a bit more flexability later on ![]() The menu and workings are very similar to that of a Dreambox image which helped a lot for setting up the emus and other settings. Just going to be a case of playing with it now ![]() Don't think i'll be going back to a DS image for a while ![]() ![]() Nano

it seems every tm9100 must be different as some like images, others not so i dont think the quality control is all that good |

I think it may have something to do with how its set up by the user
![]() My first attempt with UR11 ended with me doing a factory reset and then starting again because it kept falling over. On the second attempt it seemed to be rock solid Just got to wait and see now ![]() It was the same with the DS image. It seemed ok until i started adding emus and screen skins etc etc thats when it started to fall over on its arse ![]() ![]() Nano

Nah its still crap
![]() Got the card readers working on Nagra, Viaccess & conax cards, NDS just doesn't want to know ![]() The channels stored in the bouquet keep disapearing leaving behind removed service which is really p**sing me off ![]() Other than that everything is Dandy ![]() ![]() Nano
