Default dont buy one of these pieces of crap

notice to people don't buy one of these as they are crap, i've just had enough of it ds v3.3 was running great but when it comes to installing cam emus and keys then it all goes wrong

I've just had enough of the crap thing, cant nothing work properly on it

i so regret buying one of these, i don't have patience to have one of these as they just get on my nerves, why does everything have to be so hard, could have smashed it up by now

I've never got it to work properly at all since having it

back to the trusty old tm1500 which works how it should

My experience is quite different to yours, I must admit. The DS 3.3 was installed in no time and had no issues with EMUs and keys whatsoever. Their PVR implementation sucks big time, that's true.
Just put UR10b2 in flash and then it'll work as it should. Failing that, how much do you want for this piece of junk, that nobody wants?

That sounds like all the reasons I don't fancy a linux based receiver m8

Time for it to go on ebay :?

i've got it installing ds v3.3 again as must be corrupted the image as fta channels was fine but getting other channels no chance at all

this image is the one where the usals doesn't overshoot the satellite by a degree or so

i'm fine with installing images etc so setting up stuff doesn't bother me but since i got this receiver it just drives me up the wall

i had positive result with juliet 006 which was fine to use but just not as stable

its on loop through to my tm 1500 so can play with it more, thought i'd have to jtag it for a minute when trying to re install an image as it locked up and i switched it off

I never said that the problem is between chair and monitor No firmware is 100% bulletproof ATM and I am not sure if it'll ever be. For me, the most stable ones were Juliet 006 and UR10b2. YMMV of course.
If you don't like your box, tell us how much you want for it and if price would be good, someone will take it off you for sure.

the ds image is good but there is some kind of issue with the cam emu compatibility as mgcamd 1.24 i dont think is working properly with 3.3 image, couldn't get the Cccam 2.0.3 to work either and looks like only one that is working is evocamd 2.14 which is guess is because its a dreambox emu mostly

Clean it up and stick it on eBay. You gave it a go, but it's not working out. This is supposed to be fun!

You won't have these problems with a Dreambox, so trade up and forget all the nightmares.

Had no problems with Evocamd and Mgcamd in DS image. Everything worked as it should.

I think that maybe they suffer from dubious quality control. The difference in your experiences with the machine is staggering.
