Default Advice needed (again)

Hi folks,

I'm afraid i need more advice off you kind people ops:

I previously posted a question on footy channels and how to get them with a fixed or motorised dish, however, since discovering that my Motorised Dish is infact now unusable due to the fact its now bent in half(don't ask ) i now need your advice on what receiver and card i should now used with a fixed dish!

I've had a quote this evening of £280.00 for a Receiver(unknown) Card(did say but i forgot ops and using my own Dish(already there). I really don't know what Receiver i should be looking for my set up anyway but, i'm hoping one of you guys or gals would be able to help me with this matter.

Any help would be great,

Thanks in advance

C

What size is your fixed dish?

Was it a DigitalB card?(for 16E)

A Technomate TM1500CI+(£90) would take that card. The card costs about £160 for 12 months, 5 premium sport channels.
You should be able to use your existing receiver if it accepts a Conax card.

You definitely need to know what the receiver and card details are. There are too many cons out there including sat dealers. Unless it is a full films and footy Digitalb card you are unlikely to be getting a good deal.
