Hi
I have finally got around to getting a null modem cable and downloaded all the various bit of software for my DVB-S SL65 (M3329 B1 chipset). Instrutions for the STB editor PC2R,hold CH- and CH+ keys and switch on main power on back of box and hold CH keys for 3 seconds and LED screen should show dFb this is also the same insructions for software update. Intructions for R2PC hold down front power switch and switch on rear power switch hold for 4 seconds and LED screen should read b2pc. I have tried all of these umpteen times and all that happens is the box just comes on as normal.Does anyone know what i am doing wrong,if anything. Rich |

Unfortanelly, it also does not work with (neither of this):
HW version: A5A A100A 130D3S (Assume this is A1 chipset?) SW version: FTA CM6-02.0.3 65HR (Croatian customised software) Date of SW: Jun 1 2007 16:51:02 There is only the way to use AliEditor (060303A (GMI)). It does work, but the downloaded channels get truncated (The software seems to have a bug with reading channels, and always cuts first two signs of channel name ! ???). AliEditor uses alternate way to trigger the b2pc mode (initiated over RS232)... Channel editor should actually do the same, in order the transfer to work... The power key method definitely does not work ![]() Have done some comunication spionage with PortMon utility Windows Sysinternals: Documentation, downloads and additional resources, and it seems that a protocol like the one described here (Digibox - non-Digibox data retrieval experimentations) should be used, in order to init the mode without the power key pressed...
