Dreambox 8000 - a peek inside
This photo has been floating around for a while, but it's not been posted here so let's rectify that.
It's the mainboard of the mythical beast, for those who haven't seen it. The CPU is rumoured to be the AMD Elan SC520, whilst the Mpeg 4 decoder is apparently the Micronas DeCypher DHM8100A. This Mpeg4 product can only support 1 HD stream and 1 SD stream simultaneously. The specifications are attached.
