Default At long last, my motorized dish!!!!

Finally got myself sorted with my motorized system
I've gone from knowing bugger all about satellites last autumn to installing my own dish and motor and I can honestly say that I wouldn't been able to do it without the help and support of all the senior members in this forum
I started off with fixed 80cms on Hotbird in February, moved on to monoblock in the spring and have now progressed to 90cms motorized last weekend!!
it's a 90cms Gibertini aluminum dish with Smart Titanium LNB and Moteck motor.
I can clear 28east to 30west and as you can probably notice from photo it sits nicely above my garage and is a doddle to access and work on for tweaking etc...

Many thanks once again and if anybody wants any advice about satellites( only joking ops

Hi Wod,
I thought about running cable through LNB arm but wondered whether cable would get stuck when motor is turning.Do you reckon I would be ok? ops:
Dish is pointing at Hotbird or Astra, I can't remember which when I took picture.
I can tell you that dish clears wall literally by a couple of inches when pointing to 30 west 8)

the cable should be fine running through the lnb arm if there is abit of it to spare at the back to avoid the f connection on the motor coming loose if the cable is too tight

i ran the cable through mine but made sure i'd left it a bit long so i could get to 42e-30w

otherwise it cable tied to the arm will be ok

Well done linsladeboy, that looks like a nice setup.

Now all you have to do is sit in the armchair and try cracking the systems.
