Default Advice on low symbol rate receiver please before i purchase!

Hi all,
Am finally ready to take the plunge with my first motorised system, funds are a little tight so decided on the Triax TD88 dish(£40 delivered),Smart titanium 0.2 LNB(£8 delivered),Moteck 2100a motor(£39 delivered) and the new Manhattan Plaza XT-CM receiver(£78 delivered)
My question is regarding low symbol rates,i am really interested in feeds and have found that some, especially some DAD feeds are on really low SR's,i.e 1500 etc.I think i have decided on the new Manhattan Plaza XT range as it appears to be one of a few receivers that the symbol rate starts as low as 1000,most appear to start at 2000 so i assume i would not get some feeds/channels in this case?
Was originally going to get the Technomate 1500 super but this box has a SR starting at 2000,does anyone know if the more sensitive TMS version has the lower 1000 SR compatibility as i cant seem to find that info anywhere.
Also can anyone recommend a low SR compatible receiver or should stick with the Manhattan XT range as these seem to have all the features i need(i.e 1000+SR,fast blind search, over the air updates etc)Anyone have one yet who can offer an opinion as i can't find a review anywhere as they appear to be quite new.

Many thanks in anticipation of your advice

Yes, they are very new. Can't find out which chipset they're based on, but they certainly look nice on paper.

I've not heard any reports on these yet, but you can probably take the manufacturers claims on the tuner's SR abilities with a pinch of salt. It's certainly true that some are more conservative than others.

Avoid the TMS-xxx like the plague if you want blind-scan. The firmware has been reported as buggy and disfunctional in this respect.

The other obvious choice is the Vantage, which will probably go just as low as the Manhattan in reality.
