Default Re: i can't receive some satellites, but I can receive others...

thats what i had been doing all along by reading the instructions and was still getting no signal. BUT, I did try something just now and what I did was I added Turksat as a new satellite at 42E and after moving the dish, it found a signal!!! I added the transponder which you said, but when it scanned for channels, it didn't find any. I'm not sure why this is. After I did that, I was getting no signal from Turksat. I'm gonna play around tomorrow again, but for now its progress that it showed a signal. Thanks for your help.

Yeah, it DOES say vertical... Why I said horizontal I have no idea. Sorry about that! Always helps to be looking for the right things :roflmao:

i know this is getting silly but yesterday I had Turksat, it was working perfect, I added all the transponders etc. but as soon as I moved away from Turksat and then went back to it again, i was getting no signal!!!

So what I did was I did a factory reset and started scanning all the satellites again. I did them one by one, Hotbird works, Astra works, Hellas Sat works etc. but like before the same satellites aren't working again.... including Turksat, Thor, Amos, Eutelsat Sesat and others. So i'm back to square one. >

D'ohhhh! Well, we know one thing for sure: you CAN get it. Now you just have get the dish in the right place and KEEP IT THERE I'm unsure as how to the Apollo recievers work, but you're able to save a position once your dish is on it. I assume you did that, but it's always a good idea to check.
