Default My set up

Here is some pics of my setup the dish use to be high up on a pole in the garden but since i am on the side of a mountain it does not need to be high up in the spring i changed to a new dish face as you can see in the pics dish was high up now it is low but still get 70.5e to 61w at the moment the pics are with the c-band lnb-f on the dish but will take some with ku-band feedhorn on tomorrow, I will also add some pics of AFN and other pics over the next few days

The dish and lnb are also fully earthed to protect incase of lightning strikes

very nice, even snap n seal f connection on there too

what's the box on the pole at back of the dish is it power for the lnb ?

Yes even andrew heliax coax cable the best in the world the box is where the grounding block and earth wires are

is the heliax coax expensive ?

Most people do not use them but myself i always say necessary, The cable is expensive but it get it for free

Well if you get a drum of it over after a job, then remember the guys

Yes wod it's not cheap but not cheap either.

Seen it much bigger than this in my younger days (10" dia +) ask RD.

We get all sorts of grades from Andrew some reels are so big well have them on a trailer on the back of the van or on their own truck depends how big the job is,
