The Whitby transmitter has had to be resited. They held a public consultation and the public voted for the most unsuitable site in the area - result up to 5000 homes now have dreadful terrestrial reception!

I know that part of the cliffs pretty well. My friends have a caravan right by the Abbey where we've stayed a few times. With a view like that, you don't need TV.

The moral of the story is that people are idiots, and they should let the government decide things for them. 8)

Uhhm, I think the government are in the same bracket as the public.
