yeah there is plenty of other hd receivers to look at

even the tm5200 is just a tm1000series with usb addon and component out socket

This would not shock me if thay were rip off's,i dont know as iv not got one.On tms i would never by another,this is why.The remotes will change channels on other tms i have for one.Then there is where the support comes from,more than not there be other HD receivers just as good or better.

Please tell us more about this receiver and how you've found it. Does it scan very quickly? What does it look like in both HD and SD? What else comes in the box, and what's the build quality like?

What are the menus like, and does it have any annoying traits?

This is the right way to find out how good thay are.well said stick.Please who reports on the Hd tms,dont be off a l s a t,let have a honest opinion.Im not having a go @ a l s a t here,lets try find out what this receiver like for real.
