Hi.
I already have Sky and in a few days I'm having multiroom fitted. I'm told I must have the new digibox connected up to the phone system just like the existing digibox. Is this necessary to the functioning of multiroom? I have only rarely used the digibox phone connection to vote in the odd Sky News poll. Thanks for any help. |

For multiroom BOTH digiboxes must be connected to the SAME operational phone line at all times for the lifetime of the multiroom sub.

Hi,
I think you will find that it is a condition of your contract. This is to ensure that both boxes are used within a single household. Otherwise people would get multiroom and use it across households and save a lot on subs. I believe that it is enforced by the boxes phoning home, and you would be in breach of contract if both boxes were not on the same line and they could stop you viewing. |

They dont stop you viewing - you get a couple of warning letters then you get charged double!
