if you have comag sl65 with B1 chip you make to convert to yumatu IQ 190 X , premiere work au , tps work au , d+ not work au , problems : the original remote control not work , you must use yumatu remote control and on the display no clock and chanals numbers ****IVE JUST SEEN THIS ON ANOTHER FORUM AND HAVE NOT TRIED IT SO ITS AT YOUR OWN RISK***

From scouring other boards it seems this can be done - just Google Truman SL65 - Truman is the same as Yumatu, I think. Trouble is you will probably lose all sound output!! And you will need a Yumatu remote because the Comag one won't work any more. I've seen a Spanish forum zackyfiles with lots of posts and photos about rewiring the innards of the box to get the sound back. There's also a thread about it on sat-ulc in German.
Not worth the hassle IMO. ![]() |

No, definitely not, unless you just like messing with the insides of boxes, which is why there is an active sub-scene for this kind of stuff. It's a kind of 'started so I'll finish come hell or high water' mentality I think.

ive done my far share on hardware hacking in the past
ive got the firmware for this but cant find the loader can someone pls mail it to me and pics of the mod may give it a try why not

thanks ive got the loader from alsat would you beleive
im on nights week after next will have a crack at it then no i dont speak spanish at all btw but my be able to get help from a guy I know

As you might see in another post of mine, unless you really wish to make the hardware mod, a new software mod is available.
Currently the sound problems have been resolved and the IR is being worked on. But even if the IR can't be solved it would be far easier to buy a universal remote control than do the IR hardware mod. |
