Five is understood to be planning a channel revamp next year, when Australian soap Neighbours joins the channel.

According to Broadcast, the channel is looking at March or April for the revamp, which will include new branding and a relaunched Five website, with an extended online video-on-demand service.

The network has not yet indicated how it will schedule Neighbours when it moves from BBC One to Five, but reports have suggested it will be shown alongside Home & Away in a tea time slot.

I can't imagine what Neighbours is going to be like with adverts...

Just as bad as it was without them, except you would get a temporary reprieve about half way through.
