@Wod

Yes i still have the 120cm Fibo, however i have sold all parts for it like feed, subreflector, feedarm to a guy in Germany.

Only thing left is the Polarmount which is in great condition.

I am going to the junkyard and leave it there soon as the dish is a total disaster, i beleive it was already damaged when he sold it to me as it was beaten pretty hard by the weather climate over the years.

@wod

I saw on the other forum you wanted a Fibo from my friend Turok in Austria.

If you still haven't bought any from him you can always buy mine, its brand new in box, i initially had two one week ago but got one left now which i want to sell.

@satsid

No probs, you can always check with me later.

how'd you mount it to the adapter plate ?

does it need to be drilled

@wod

Yes you need to drill 4 holes in the adapter plate, just make the holes in the center of the plate and measure equal distance from side to side, it's very easy to do.

Here is the backside of the Fibo dish where you can see the distance of 116mm and 60mm between the holes.

As to the plate attaching to the 1224 it's very straightforward as you can see.

Look at my picture below:

...and the second option which i like is to use the fixmount that comes with the dish to attach to a Moteck Diseqc motor like the picture below.

@ Likvid,

Any chance of a quick bit of theory on the Gregorian type dish?

I am interested to know why it performs better than a standard offset dish.

@robbo71

It is probably better if you read this technical document as it is pretty much writing.

You can read between the lines....
