Default Re: My Fibostöp 90cm Gregorian dish with SMR1224 motor.

satmuller also supply the 90cm fibo, called master focus.

@mship i have posted pics up of my perfect fibo 1.2m dish.
I am going to get a 1224 motor to complement it.

I have also posted pics of my fibo 90cm modded to run a disec motor.

the 55cm fibo performs like an 80cm, the 90cm performs like a 1.1m, and the 1.2 like a 1.4m.

As likvid knows the 1.2m is very rare to get hold of now.

Are the 55cm easy to get hold of?
I wouldn't mind one of those.

55cm are the hardest to get, you have to look on the used market if you want one, they are good, probably the best Fibo of them all performance wise.

not an endless supply, but a result!

So can we expect to see a 1.2m fibo peeping over your balcony soon?

Yeah it's crazy money.

You can get a new Channel Master 1.8m for cheaper money.

No i am not paying that amount for a small dish, that is the reason the supplier still has them in stock, no one wants to pay for it when they can get a larger dish like Andrew for cheaper money.

As the performance is so good, why has no one else used this idea (apart fromWaveFrontier?)

I am sure that would look cool above my 1.2 dish
