Hi all,

I have just received my new Dreambox 600 pvr last week (I must say that I have been waiting for this moment
for quite some time

) and I was wondering if someone could suggest a or some images that are mostly used by
the SatteliteHelp community?

I am a pure novice obviously, but I am doing my best

ops: So if anyone could give me some starting point, I should
be able to take it from there ..hehe.

(By the way, does anyone know what type of hard disks a 600pvr supports (Before I open it up) ..IDE(PATA) or SATA?)

It has an ATA66 interface.

Try the Gemini image from i-have-a-dreambox.com. Make sure you get the right one.

Then download the satankey updater:

_http://www.sendspace.com/file/7k7dh4

The files go in /var/tuxbox/plugins. Just chmod 755 the .sh file.

Job done. Everything available on the blue button.

Use Dreamup to flash it.
