Hello im new to this, ive got a technomate patched reciever which has dome me proud but i want to go to the next level, i have been told the diablo cam is the way to go, but know nothing about them. ive seen diablo light and wireless for sale and would like to know the plus points of both, also would they work with my technomate or do i have to upgrade that? Also if im using a stealth patch to unlock certain sports channels does that update the cam or a card i use in the cam?
Sorry to start with so many questions but need as much info as possible before i start spending money Cheers in advance for any help NeilCad |

You should be OK then.
I'm just 'paving the way' for the experts as I only have a 1000D. ![]() As I understand it though, the wireless option is intended for when you want two receivers to share the same CAM. A card goes into an external wireless module, and wireless trancievers slotted into the receivers can communicate with it. The 'light' version just goes straight into the receiver, with no other modules. I believe that you program the CAM directly using an external CAS programmer. |

Hi,
I'm very new to all this myself. I bought the diablo cam and CAS programmer, read a lot on various web sites and asked the guys here lots of questions. Things worked out great but now some of the channels are scrambled where as before they were open to me. I'll have to start manually putting in the hex codes, which I found by going through the various menus on my receiver. Mac |

i have often wondered about getting one of these my self but was never sure if it actually done any more than my TM1500 did on its own. Maybe its worth considering now |

I'd check which channels you can receive before deciding if it is worthwhile, as you will require a Cas 2 or 3 to programme your Diablo Cam.
