Hi all,
Thanks for all the help I have received on here in my shot time registered.

I got a Channel Master 1.2 Mtr dish, a Technomate TM 5000 DAPCI and a load of gold cards etc and some cams from a friend.

I would like to know if there is any way I can update the Matrix Rev cam to a Reborn cam? I already have a Reborn, but i use it in a Manatten Starlight that I have downstairs. I am going to use the Technomate as a positioned for the dish and then use my Dreambox 500s for receiving the signals. I also got a Zeta Cam and it has a Free X tv card in it. I have the dish fitted with 36" Super Jack, would that be too big? It seems to fit it OK, but I have not had a chance to use it yet as the foundation for the ground mount has only been put down yesterday and I have another layer to put on it yet.

I have a Cas Interface 2 and a 3, so I have the means to do any upgrade that I can. Any suggestions on these matters would be very much appreciated and welcome.

There is the option, in the Cas software, to alter your cams Xilinx file, which could do what you ask.
Start up your Cas 8.2 software, click on Cam module tab, and the Magic icon, this will bring up the Matrix cam icons.
Click on your version and at the bottom you can see write xilinx.
To find the required file try typing Xilinx into a search engine, but ensure you have your anti virus and anti spyware running, and up to date, as there are a few suspicious sites around.

Thanks Mickha. I shall do as you suggest. I have AVG Internet Security and it updates each day so I should be OK there. I shall let you know how I get on.
