Sky + requires 2 lnb inputs to function correctly, so you may have an lnb down, broken Co-ax or just one connection to start with :?

What package are you on mate, can't really comment if we don't know what package you are subscribing to.

£200 is extortionate (unless you are in a pub) and sounds to me that there is a billing error somewhere. Personally i would tell them to stick their package and their service up their a and watch them squirm to keep a customer. They usually bend over backwards especially if you are one of their higher packages

I find telling them you are going on to Virgin c@ble usually helps when it comes to getting your own way

Get them to send down a Sky engineer to sort your box out so it works correctly and tell them you want everything half price for three months

You might aswell try it as it usually works

If you have more than 12 months with them i would really tell them to stick their services, you will be suprised how quickly they will drop the charges

Sky are a law unto theirselves. For what you are paying for 2 months you could get a good motorised system that will give you more or less everything you watch on Sky with no further outlay

I only subscribe because i'm on half price for 3 months As soon as they go to put it up i'll cancel it again until they contact me about six weeks later, just like they have for the last 6 months :roflmao:

When did your Sky contract start? You only have to have it connected to the phone line for the first year.

If you've had it connected, I would tell them that it's a mistake and to take the charges off immediately or they can sue you for the money. They can't prove you have willfully disconnected it. It could be a faulty cable or the engineer may have cocked up the installation after they tested the line.

Not if you have multiroom, BOTH boxes have to be connected for the entire life of the multiroom subscription
