Default After the Patch

I finally plucked up the courage to patch my two month old Technomate 1000D and successful is was.

The System information now reads: Darkman 2.37, H/W 1.12, H/W/ Version 2.10 and there are two new menus entitled CAS Menu and BISS Menu.

I erased all channels and scanned 28.2E, 19.2E and 13E again, for FTA channels and this time I have a huge list of encrypted channels, on all satellites, none of which I can view. The previously free ones are fine. Having successfully patched my box and now having these menus with rows of figures, what have I not done correctly as nothing which is listed as encrypted is viewable? I would have thought that all these numbers were up to date but now beginning to flounder a bit - help!!

What are you trying to watch Diapason?

Premier should come on straight away but Digital + is on AU so might up to a minute or so

We're getting there - I've got Premiere now. May do a re-scan for D+ as it doesn't seem to be in my box at the moment. Will keep you posted. Thanks everyone!!

I've done a re-scan and now have the D+ channels listed but showing encrypted and no matter how long I wait, nothing doing so far. I have Taquilla, Iderdola (I think) and various other names, with a horizontal scrolling screen. But Premiere channels are loud and clear (if in German!!).

I'm sure I'm missing something, but, hey, it's a fun hobby is it not?

Beginning to flounder again - where do I get the latest softcam? Do I try a-l-s-*t and is it the similar procedure to downloading the patch? I'm relatively new to this aspect of things but I did manage to set up two dishes on three sats last year so the mechanics I'm happy with but still have a bit to learn about the electronics - thanks for your patience.

One or two channels beginning to open up as long as N*grav*sion is the first or the only one in the list. Just found TCM. Doesn't seem to like S*CA or Vi*c*ss so far but think I'll wait till tomorrow before trying the next stage. I imagine that with a bit of patience and knowledge most things will evenyually be viewable. Thanks again - I'll report the next thrilling instalment but not tonight!!.
