LJ's only has pay-TV options listed so far. Maybe closer to the time we'll hear something.

The match will be FTA on NT1 on Hotbird 13E
(11681H 27500 3/4)

Is this 13 degrees east of south, I seem to remember being in a Lithuanians house recently and I’m sure they were tuned to Hotbird 13e for Russian language broadcasts but I think they had a 80 cm plus dish (Lidls)

Yes, 13 degrees east of south. It actually means that the satellite is located at longitude 13E - i.e it's directly above the equator at that longitude - so over Gabon somewhere!

Thanks for that, my dish is a 60 cm and is pointed at 28.2, I know I will need to move
to my right as I stand behind the dish. will I need to lower or raise the dish, I think my SL65 will have the sat
preprogrammed. There are some big hills in front of me but the base of these are half a mile away.

Maybe this time I can catch a match without resorting to sly at the pub!

Hi,
You will need point your dish upward a bit more ( raise it)

Have a look at this picture of the 'arc'

Cheers Robbo, do you think a 60cm dish will be big enough to pick up Hotbird 13E?

If I have it preprogrammed is it just a case of scanning the sat to pick the FTA channels?

Cheers in advance

Judging by the footprint, I would have thought so, but It might be a bit dodgy when it rains up where you are. I get it on a 43cm minidish, but lose it in bad weather daan saaf.

Point it, and give it a go, is the only way to find out for sure.

And assuming that that transponder is programmed into your box, and it is flagged as FTA yes a normal FTA scan will find it. If not you may have to do a manual transponder and a VPID/APID entry, or a blind scan.

Cheers Robbo.......I think if it comes to entering data I'm off to the pub with my 10 year old hyper grandson who is just going into his volcanic phase!......ok a slight exaggeration but quite near the mark some times.
My LNB is set so its works are roughly perpendicular and the info I've got so far to get Hotbird 13 East says
LNB skew needs to be -18.6 degrees and a skew of -10.2 degrees is needed for Astra 28.2 and thats what it is set for just now. What do I need to do? I won't get a shot @ doing this till the weekend as my set up is being used at my static caravan which is only used then.

Thanks in advance
