For firmware loader search for Upgrade_DVB.exe and for keys look for Keyupdater.exe. Make sure you get the right firmware and keys for your particular chipset. See Yorks' post about patching in the sticky above, too.
NB The keys in most files for the SL65 will be out of date and will require manual input. Find the latest on Alsat. Sol |

I wonder if anyone has ever thought of punching in all the new keys, backing up the firmware to a zipped file and uploading it to a free file-hosting site?

i think we need a little team effort here...
how about a few of us with patched sl65/12 take a few encryptions and pass the file on so if A inputs via**ess and say bliss in to his rx.. downloads the image to the pc post's it mr b takes the firmware uploads it to his rx inputs the keys for 2 encryption types . uploads it on to the net. i know its a little bit of a chain..but it may work. and also us sl65/12 users couls help a lot more people ![]() anyone up for this ? |

Sounds reasonable, just keep it at arms length from the forum. We don't want to be seen trading keyfiles

If you have a B1 chipset receiver, it would be best for you to wait before going ahead with your above idea.
After getting hold of some ALI sources and the SDK, some Germans have been able to modify the Truman firmware to work on the B1 Comag/Silvercrest receivers. At the moment this requires a universal remote control but work is proceeding on modifying the requisite IR codes. The Truman firmware is very well supported and includes all the available hacks - N2 AU, DCW, CS, etc... The test firmware is available at a well known German site but, to repeat, be warned you need a compatible universal remote. |

There you will find a very large SL35/65 section. In the "datenbank" are the files. Look in Sonstiges/SL 35 - 65/ for a filename with Truman Vampire SL35 sound. Upload the abs file with DVBUpgrade, programme your remote and enjoy ![]() |
