Default Motor Problem

Hi All,

I have a superjack HH motor that seems lost. I was trying to get the motor to work correctly with ProgDVB (being in Australia causes a few problems here) and some how i have managed to get the motor to point approx 10 deg west of where it should be. Even when I tell it to go to 0 deg it does go there and then promptly goes to 10 deg west of 0 deg. I've tried other software but they are just the same so I think the problem lies in the motor itself but how can I reset it???

Hi,

Welcome to the forum.

Can you provide us with the model number etc of the motor as this may make answering your question a little easier?

As there is a number of different models in the superjack H-H range.

Is there a reset button on the motor? If there is, it'll be very small and recessed. I have a feeling it doesn't have one.

Is there any way you can try it with another receiver?

Which card/box are you using?

Which drivers do you have loaded (version?)

If it's a Skystar, have you tried the MiBi motor plugin?

This might interest you, though doesn't sound quite like your problem:

The model is a DG95 and the card is a Twinhan 1034. I've managed to get it back to where it should be be sending it a "Re-calculate Satellite Positions" command (E0 31 6F 00) through the send raw diseqc command function in the ProgDvb Diseqc control section.

Thanks for the help anyway. Great forum.

Glad you got it sorted
That information may be useful for someone else with a similar problem.
Cheers
