Hi to you all,
I have technomate tm 1500 ci super which i was quite chuffed managed to download software from a*sat, ie the latest version of there Dar*m*n P*t*h and I get extra channels, very impressive. I was wondering though when i open up my system settings menu it comes up with Biss option when i open it it shows page titles Premium and about 20 lines of numbers and le**ers, which i`m guessing are co8es, what can i do to make these biss keys work as it says that they are off and what can i open with them ? BISS is basically just another encryption method
![]() There are a few National Geographic channels on 16e and Disney Middle East Channel and MGM on 10e that are encrypted in BISS at least they were the last time i looked about 6 months ago I'm sure Fox sports on 16e used to be BISS encoded aswell although it was a pain in the bum to get :? NG Turkey you won't get on the TM as its 4.2.2 format which the TM cant display Although you should get NG Germany and NG Iberia ![]() If i remember right BISS is sometimes used to temporarily encrypt certain transmissions like Fox Turk on 33e when British footie is on > ![]() If i remember rightly as i haven't done it for yonks, you have to put the receiver on to the channel that is encrypted then go into the BISS menu and input the keys into a free slot which switches that particular slot on ![]() Nano

I believe that BISS doesn't use a particularly strong cipher (though don't quote me on that), and is vulnerable to attack on several fronts. Some receivers also allow the input of Constant CW's into the keyfile slots normally allocated for BISS.

A BISS key tends to be for one particular channel. Once you've identified the channel that you want and found the key for it, turn your receiver to that channel as though you want to watch it. Press Menu-System Info-Biss. Then locate a free line with only 00s and insert the key; press exit-save-exit. Robert should then be ya father's brother.
