This evening I have made a start in digitalising the best bits of the various launches I have on video tape.
Top of the pile was the Astra 1L launch on May 4th 2007: A good launch with clear skies allowing good views of the climbout and booster seperation.

Astra 1KR April 20th 2006 on an Atlas 5 from Cape Canaveral
An unusual liftoff in that the rocket only used one solid booster, and looks very strange as it climbs off the pad. Good weather so nice views from the tracking cams

NSS 8 on Sea Launch on 30th January 2007. Only a short (10 second clip) as the rocket blew up on the launchpad due to a foreign object getting into one of the motor pumps! Very spectacular though!
Amazingly, the launch pad (a converted oil rig) was barely damaged - when the engineers went back on board a couple of days later there were still lights on in the hangar area!

Hotbird 6 21st August 2002. It was the very first Atlas-5 mission and launched from Cape Canaveral.
This one has some incredible on board footage as the rocket lifts off and heads off into space. This is my favourite ever comms sat launch thanks to the onboard cameras ![]()
