I've had my current dishwasher for a year and a half now and there's been no problems at all... Low on the electric, quiet, no limescale... Her name's Emily

I paid 900 pounds 10 years ago for our cooker, dual fuel 2 ovens and four burners plus a wok / griddle burner range stylie thing in black.

Best pressie I've ever bought myself for the kitchen, did a roastie for 10 at the W/E and christmas dinner for fourteen a couple of years ago.
Gotta have something like that if you cook for loads at a time, makes it easy peasy (gallons of wine while doing it also help obviously).

Hmm.... it reminds me of good old times when I came to this forum and asked for an advice on the best receiver. And the answer was something like "get dreambox, as the rest is simply rubbish"

Yup And I am wondering if someone from the 'white goods' forum is now complaining about people here. To quote their madrat:

Told them about £200 for receiver, dish and everything. Some one said they had spent £350 on one and had nothing but trouble and someone else said "well thats what happens when you get a cheap setup" Shocked Since when was £350 cheap. I was then informed that the best receiver was a Dreambox style. So apart from the fact I now have to spend £400+ if I want a good receiver I have to knock a wall down to fit a great big dish in that I don't want or will ever use, what is wrong with some people? they don't live in the real world, they relay don't. Huh

Everyone has an opinion, and thank God they're all different. It would be a very boring place otherwise
