Default Totally new to this hobby but wanting to learn.

Hi guys.
I live in the Potteries and took early retirement 2 years ago. The house and garden are now finished so I'm looking for something to tax my brain. I've been on different forums, but i am most impressed by yours. I've just bought a TM 1500 ci, of which I know nothing about. I will probably need alot of help. Hope I can glean some useful info from you knowledgable guys. Cheers :?

A very big welcome to the forum philjo90. Help is what we are here for, hence the name.

You are now amongst a group of enthusiasts or is it weirdoes so let us know how you are getting on and we will try to confuse.

Hi philjo90! :welc1:

It's a great hobby, and especially so if you have some time to dedicate to it. I hope you enjoy yourself.

One of the best things about it as far as I'm concerned is that it works on many levels, from just watching TV to well beyond most peoples mental capacity once you get into encryption theory etc.

You can unwrap a layer at a time and take as few or as many steps as you want. Take too many though, and you'll leave us behind

Have fun and ask away as and when. We've heard most questions before, but that's OK - ask anyway. We just want to get people into satellite TV
