The link I gave was for the PCI drivers installation. You need to navigate back to the correct downloads for USB drivers.

I`ve too problem. I have SkyStar USB 2 Technisat, 4.4.3 drivers but ALtdvb not property recognize Device for item card under Vista+Sp1.

One problem that I have found with windoze is that it usually installs the wrong drivers for the SS2 card. You need to delete all SS2 drivers and restart the PC and then install the up to date SS2 drivers and connect the card.

Unfortunately, or more likely fortunately, I dont have the USB version of the SS2 card but even the PCI version is a difficult crittur to install and get recognised.

As a diversion from Altdvb, I have been experimenting with DVBViewer again and it is working flawlessly with Vista.

I can not register the asx files on start up so Alt-DVB refuses to load.

i can second the dvb viewer working flawlessly as does prog dvb on my vista computer, hd also on dvb viewer via core avc.
are there any tricks n tips to get a free something or other via dvb viewer??
