Default New TMS 1500CI

Thanks for your very enthusiastic welcomes, I hope that this is not where I start to wear your patience.
Just received my new TMS 1500CI. Connected to my 66cm dish and hey presto I can tune into several satellites.
I'm led to believe that the 1500 CI is patched. How do I tell if it actually is and what patch it is. Also just downloaded TM loader. Going to try to connect to my PC tonight. "One step at a time" as the song goes. 8)

Go to the system information in the main menu (last choice in menu at the bottom) and then look at S/W version.

If it starts with something like Darkman 3.38 then its patched. The newest patch should be dated 04-10-07

If it says anything else let us know

There have been quite a few patches in the last month so it may not have the most upto date patch installed although you should still be able to open things by entering the appropiate keys if its running on an old patch

Thanks Nano.
The s/w version just says 1.6 (October 16 2006). I take it that it is just the TM software and no patch installed.

Managed to download the patch and load it in first time, just got to find out how to use it now. No doubt I will soon be back after more info.
Thanks again

Hey, cool. You're doing OK!

The rest is a walk in the park, just point your dish at something German like Premiere, Spanish like Digital + or French like TPS and leave the receiver turned on for a few minutes

These packages should auto-update with keys etc. Have a read around the rest of the forum and enjoy your box.
