OK m8.

On your last screen, you need to click 'Add Filter' at the top, and then select something you have installed. The ffdshow stuff works on the audio side, and you can use the CoreAVC for H.264 and Elecard for mpeg2.

Even the AC3 filter works on DigiTV. Stunning audio.

You'll have to shut AltDVB and restart it to have it all take effect. I don't have all the codecs I need installed yet, but I'm nearly there. I'm going to install PowerDVD to get the rest I think.

If you followed my instructions earlier, it could already be installed

Select 'Video Decoders' in the top dropdown, then Click 'Add Filter', select Elecard Video and add it. Then set it up in DVB-main. Same for all the others you need.

You can import transponder lists directly from joshyfun and King of Sat from the scan window.

Yes the SS2/AltDVB works with USALS, but I've not got this working on Vista yet. I haven't really tried though.

Too busy watching Python on Digi

You could try setting it to only use a single core of the CPU, increasing the priority of the AltDVB process in task manager or try just scanning a few transponders at a time.

The only thing I find different with mine compared to having it run on XP is that channel changes take a second or two longer, plus the DiSEqC thing.

I don't want to fix everything too quickly, or there'll be nothing left to play with!

Yes, you do get a few lines which look like 'interlacing' on fast-moving images - even in HD.
