Mainly it's Nagravision 2 encrypted packages that are open, which includes the following packages:
Premiere 19E
Polsat 13E
Digi TV 1W

If you want anything else you will need extra Cams or cards.
Both the Diablo Cam and the MII+ card are currently clearing DigitAlb 16E and Canal Digital 1W,

Hi, read the guide and it seems to work the same way that eurovoxes are patched. What would be the cheapest technomate that works with this method that isn't a 1000 series. I cant seem to find the 1000 series on fleeBay.

EDIT: Ive found how to patch these from the technomate site

This thread is pretty old now. All the latest Technomate models are very easy to update using a USB flash drive. Though the method described does still work, so serial can still be used if necessary.

to be fair, the newer Eurovoxes are patched by USB, so if youve kept up to date with Eurovox's, you should be able to flash a technomate

I think ver 1.8.7 is the newest :?

Secondly download the newest patch (at the time of writing or until i put the newest one here - "D+ Au 1000 series PATCH 04/10/2007) and unzip it to a folder which you could call "patch"

make sure you d/l the right one!!!!

Connect your receiver to you computer using the 9pin null modem c@ble and switch it on.

If you are on a card meter make sure you have enough credit to ensure your power doesn't go off

If it goes off midway through flashing the image to the box it could scrap the receiver

Start the loader program, click the software tag and then browse. You then have to select the firmware file.

When this is done click on connect and it will show the com port your technomate is connected to on your PC and information about the firmware currently installed on the box.

Click on start & follow the on screen instuctions.

Under no circumstances press the cancel button, it may
turn your Technomate into a doorstop

It will then download the software to the box

It will then erase the current image on the Technomates flash memory and then install the new image to the flash memory

The loader will then state when it is finished

You should then see " FFFF" on the receivers display. It should then reset itself a few seconds later

If the receiver comes back on then all i can say is Congratulations you have just patched your Technomate 1000 Series

Enjoy your new found television experience

Just remember don't press cancel and make sure you have enough electric if your on a card meter and you will be fine

If anything does go wrong all is not lost. If the worst does happen have a look at the link below

How to recover your Technomate

Nano
Does this still work?
