Right first of all you will need to download the newest firmware loader for your box from the a l s a t forum. I think ver 1.8.7 is the newest :? ![]() Secondly download the newest patch (at the time of writing or until i put the newest one here - "D+ Au 1000 series PATCH 04/10/2007) and unzip it to a folder which you could call "patch" make sure you d/l the right one!!!! Connect your receiver to you computer using the 9pin null modem c@ble and switch it on. ![]() If you are on a card meter make sure you have enough credit to ensure your power doesn't go off If it goes off midway through flashing the image to the box it could scrap the receiver ![]() Start the loader program, click the software tag and then browse. You then have to select the firmware file. ![]() ![]() When this is done click on connect and it will show the com port your technomate is connected to on your PC and information about the firmware currently installed on the box. ![]() Click on start & follow the on screen instuctions. ![]() Under no circumstances press the cancel button, it may ![]() turn your Technomate into a doorstop ![]() ![]() ![]() It will then erase the current image on the Technomates flash memory and then install the new image to the flash memory ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The loader will then state when it is finished ![]() You should then see " FFFF" on the receivers display. It should then reset itself a few seconds later ![]() If the receiver comes back on then all i can say is Congratulations you have just patched your Technomate 1000 Series Enjoy your new found television experience ![]() Just remember don't press cancel and make sure you have enough electric if your on a card meter and you will be fine ![]() If anything does go wrong all is not lost. If the worst does happen have a look at the link below How to recover your Technomate ![]() Nano

Nice one nano
![]() Lets just point out that the procedure for flashing a box with official Technomate firmware is the same BUT USE THE APPROPRIATE TECHNOMATE LOADER off their website

Excellent account of how to do it - and it has always worked perfectly for my Technomate 1000D Super.
