Default Backing up and Restoring the channel list on your Technomate 1000 series

First of all, you need to obtain the loader software for your box. For this guide I have used the official version, but the unnofficial version shown in Patching your Technomate 1000 series

Click on 'TM-1000 Loader, save to your hard disk, then unzip it ready for use.

[b] Connect your receiver to you computer using the 9pin null modem c@ble and switch it on.

Then run the file 'TMLoader.exe' that you just unzipped.

TO SAVE A COPY OF YOUR CHANNELS TO YOUR PC

Click the Channels tab and select Upload .You then have to click browse and enter a filename to save to

Now press Auto detect and the the following will confirm that you are connected, press Exit

Now press the 'connect' button and click on start when the pop-up appears

The channel list will then be uploaded to your PC

When it has finished the following will be displayed. Press 'Finish'

Congratulations you have now backed up your channel list to your PC

TO RESTORE YOUR CHANNEL LIST FROM YOUR PC TO YOUR BOX

Assuming that you're all connected up and the Loader is running as before. Click on the 'Channels' tab and select 'Download'.Then browse for your channel file (.ndf) and select it.

Then press 'Connect' and 'Start' when the pop-up appears.

The channel list will then download to the box, and show 'sending'

When it has finished, the following will appear. The box will reset, and the LED panel will show 'FFFF'. If the TV is connected to the box there may be a buzzing sound and a black screen for a little while. Click on 'Finish'

The box should then spring back into life

Congratulations you have now restored the channels to your box
