Default Quali-TV HD receiver

Apparently these can handle 4.2.2 which i think is highly prized by many enthusiasts.
i expect the price will rise but you never know

Yes, they do 4:2:2 but have flaky crappy firmware - the last I heard anyway.

discovered this whilst checking up about it, so i lifted it from the forum i was reading

BBC HD is transmitted in MPEG4 the qualitv (one of which I have) can only decode MPEG2.Qualitv was intended for 1080HD but they changed to MPEG4 thus rendering the boxes only usefull for 4;2;2 transmissions.

so its no good for HD satellite transmissions like BBC HD. glad i found that out

Saw it two days ago in Munich Conrad Expert store (a chain like Maplin but stores are bigger) for 199 EUR instead of 499 EUR. If someone is interested I can give shop details here.
