Hi can anyone help me with german premiere

Hi i'm quite new to this site and satelites in particular,

Just to find out if anyone would know if german premiere multiscreen is easy to use and if you are able to hear the football in english

The English Premiere league games have English commentary, usually the second German option in the audio settings.
And this year all Champions League games, featuring British sides, have had an English commentary.
Unfortunately we might not have the Premiere package for much longer, as Nagra 3 encryption is being introduced, to these packages.
Cabo went off a few weeks back and D+ are changing their subscription cards now.
The ease of use depends on your receiver, as some use the portals, where you select the channel you wish to view, and others scan the channels in as unnamed, and you just select them as normal.

Nagra 3- Nagravision 3,
the next generation of the Nagravison encryption standard.

Changing their cards, meaning that theyre going from Nagravion 2 to Nagravision 3, so Nagra 2 cards will no longer work.

Cabo- TV Cabo, broadcast on 30W

Recently went from Nagra 2 to Nagra 3 also.


The portal channels scan in with stupid names on my receiver, buy you can still see them OK.

What my situation is, is that i recently purchased a system from a company, which included the equipment for german premiere, the subscription for german premiere, and also the instalation for my business,

I was just getting a little concerned after paying out all this money to them very recently, that i got a posting saying that premiere may not continue, despite the fact i have pd for a subscription, does that not mean i don't need to worry about the problem of encryption etc.

In my opinion, it would be the responsibility of the company that supplied you with the subscription to ensure that you got the new card, when it was required.

Do you need to adjust settings for the language everytime there is a game on, or are the games naturally in english, ie. for champions league games involving british sides and also english premiership games?

I can't speak for the 'proper' premiere box, but on my standard receiver, the English track has to be selected as the default is German. But the receiver remembers that you have done it, and it stays English. If however the English track goes for a while, eg during 'breaks' , you get silence.

For Champion League games, if the British team is at home then the English sound track is on German 1, if they are away it is on German 2. Most receivers have a direct button, to the audio option, so that it is very easy to change.
For Premiere league games, the English sound track is always German option 2, so once selected you shouldn't need to change it.
